Bosch PR20EVSK – Powerful Motor, Variable Speed, And Depth Adjustment For Precise Results

If you’ve ever wished for a smaller router that still had the power and accuracy of the standard models, Bosch made this for you. This Bosch PR20EVSK Colt is little only in size. Weighing in at just a hair over 3 pounds, it feels like a feather, so one-handed control is absolutely perfect. Bosch’s soft grip design is intuitive, and whether your hands are small or big, it fits just right, giving you perfect control.

The Bosch PR20EVSK owes its robust performance to a 1.0-horsepower (the highest rating for little routers), 5.6-amp motor that spins at a variable speed of 16,000 to 35,000 RPM and has a soft-start that reduces startup torque. Additionally, depth adjustment is simple with the Bosch PR20EVSK: just align and lower the motor and then lock the router in position with the clamping level. Micro-fine adjustments are equally effortless thanks to the wheel on the back of the router’s base.

The Bosch PR20EVSK Router Variable-speed Colt Kit has a palm-grip design with Soft Grip to make it the most comfortable router in its class, yet it also has enough power to do the job and is more comfortable and easy to use than larger routers. For consistent performance and overload protection, the Softstart reduces start-up torque while the Bosch Constant Response Circuitry monitors and maintains speed under load. Easily move the motor from base to base to work on other areas of your project with the Quick-clamp System.

We can think of hundreds of uses for this little workhorse, but those who’ve previously been intimidated by routers will absolutely love it, because it’s a fraction of the size and weight, and it performs like a full-size router. It would be perfect for rounding-over deck planks and railings, hinge mortising, making decorative edges on hobby wood, and furniture, cutting slots, for use with a dovetail jig, making window cutouts, decorative inlays, trimming laminate and more. Pros, hobby woodworkers and do-it-yourselfers will all wonder how they got along without this small router.
